There may be import duty or local taxes charged for deliveries made outside of the European Union as our products are sold on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary by country. For any queries you may have, we recommend that you contact your local customs office.
For EU Deliveries: Tesco is required by law to charge and collect VAT on orders placed through our website for deliveries to the EU. All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT and for customers with an EU delivery address, UK VAT will be charged.
However in the UK, a number of products are charged at 0% VAT, including childrenís clothing.
For Non-EU Deliveries: For deliveries outside of the EU, VAT will not be charged. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer different prices in different countries and we only have one price on our website for all countries. However, as stated in our Terms and Conditions your order may be subject to local taxes and import duties, which remain the customerís responsibility.
To help at this busy time we're extending our normal 28 day returns policy. Any gifts you buy between 1st November and 24th December may be returned until 31st January 2015. Except for this extension, the terms of our Returns & Refunds Policy still apply. Your statutory rights are not affected in any way.
You have 28 days, from receipt of the order, to return any unwanted or unsuitable items to us for a refund.
International returns can only be sent back to us at your own cost and cannot be returned to any Tesco store outside the UK. However, we are able to process local returns (see below for more information).
For returns from the Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Scilly Isles please follow the courier collection process.
Step 1: Creating a Returns Label
To return an item locally, simply visit our returns portal and follow the instructions given. Youíll need access to a printer to complete this process. Depending on your location, you may qualify for either a postal return or a return via our courier.

Please visit your nearest postal office to send postal returns. Please note that itís a good idea to keep proof of postage. Items returned without proof of postage are sent at your own risk.
If making your return via our courier, please be available between 8.00 and 18.30 on the scheduled date of your return at your collection address, so that our courier can collect your package. Details of your chosen collection address and date are contained in your returns confirmation email. Click here to change your return date at any time up until the day before it is due.
If you use one of our local returns options your package should be received by Tesco approximately 7 working days after it has been collected by our courier or posted. You can use our returns portal to track your return.
Please note that returns from Russia may take longer than 7 days to be received as the time taken to receive a package will vary depending on the specific return method used.
We strongly recommend you use a postal service that insures you for the value of goods you are returning, and that you also obtain proof of postage to avoid any problems.
The goods will be at your risk until received by Tesco.
Once we receive your returned order, we will inspect the goods within 24 hours and, provided we are satisfied with your return, process your refund as quickly as possible. If the reason for the return is due to an error on our part, we may also reimburse you the cost of returning the goods (you will need to email us to arrange this).
Unless the items are faulty, the goods must be returned to us in the original condition, with all tags and labels still attached. Ensure the items are packaged and protected well for return, as we can't take responsibility for them until they arrive back to us.
